WANDERLUST: Pagsanjan Falls, Philippines
Summer isn’t over yet here in the Philippines! So, why not go to out of town and relax for just a minimal budget? Yes! You have read it right, a very minimal budget!!!
Escaping from busy city isn’t bad after all, there is a hidden gem 2 hours drive only from manila, a very peaceful place where you can loose all the stressed nerves in you.
Me and mom went to Pagsanjan Falls, to explore the place which I only knew during my grade school textbooks and from my teacher’s stories. I never knew that I was goin to see this place, it is really an under-rated tourist spot.
Pagsanjan Falls (indigenous name: Magdapio Falls) is one of the most famous waterfalls in the Philippines, now know as “Cavinti Falls” Located in the province of Laguna, the falls is one of the major tourist attractions of the region. The boat ride has been an attraction since the Spanish Colonial Era with the oldest written account in 1894. The town of Pagsanjan lies at the confluence of two rivers, the Balanac River and the Bumbungan River (also known as the Pagsanjan River). Wikipedia
So here are some of the photos i took during our getaway!!!
This is at the Resort, where you will pay for the boat ride and some tourism fees.

And after less than an hour of the amazing boat ride, finally we have reached the falls!
The stairs that you can see was an alternative way before to go to the falls, because it is too steep, the tourism office have it closed. Too dangerous!!!!
