Infected by a Travel Bug

Image I’ve been thinking about airplanes and airports lately, when i close my eyes, it reminds me of how many beautiful and sad memories the airports witnesses, how many hugs and kisses were shared. I miss the feeling of waiting in the airport for hours, just sitting and watching people do their own thing, kids playing and can’t stop telling on how excited they are to take-off. Some are business man/woman, who’s catching the next possible flight and keeps on looking on their precious watches that they can’t afford to be late on their next meeting. While some are back-packers who are reading books on the other side of the bench charging their phones and scanning their Macbook. I can imagine sitting on the plane now, with my seat-belts fastened and waiting for the plane to depart and feeling the first 5 minutes of the flight (the take-off) on how it makes you feel inlove but you can’t really can’t explain the feeling. I can imagine myself now on the other side of the world, arriving …

How can you not love travelling? It gives you some sense of liberty, sweet innocence and happiness. It allows you to be a kid again, the feeling of your first walk, the happiness of your first tooth growing. It lets you get out of your comfort-zone to explore a place you’ve never been, to talk to strangers you’ve never met, and to trust people in a snap. I just can’t wait to open my eyes again, and to see a whole new world on the other side. I can’t wait to pack my bags again and leave.

But now, I have to open my eyes for the meantime. Reality doesn’t hurt that much, I guess my wanderlust infection is striking again. ย  here’s to the new adventure…
